I thinks...
Hello
everyone. For this week, I chose the following 4 topics offered by the
teacher for the blog: my opinion on: a) owning an exotic pet, b) the immigration
situation in Chile, c) the legalization of some drugs, and d)
a)
Personally, I think it is cruel to have pets in the first place, especially
when they are separating from their natural habitats and their natural ways of
life are interrupting. And that has been the subject of discussion in my family
because we have pets in the apartment (2 rabbits), but I find it cruel that
they cannot enjoy the outdoors and all aspects of that life, for example,
reproduction. Although I am not an animalist (I eat meat), but I find it
violent that we intervene in the reproduction of animals, especially their
sterilization.
b) About
the immigration situation, I think it is a difficult situation to handle due to
the pre-existing precariousness and difficulty of access to basic services,
apart from its high costs, which Chile presented before the immigration wave.
In a country that has no direction on its economic and social development, it
is difficult to readjust its service structure for people coming from abroad,
especially since it would not have the family support networks that would allow
it to cope with everyday difficulties.
c) About the legalization of some drugs, I think that in the event that their
legalization is achieving, the State must assume the total monopoly on its
production and commercialization in order to ensure its quality and have a
confidential record of its consumers, in this way generate responsible
consumption and addiction control plans. On the other hand, I think that its
sale should be to prohibit to children under 24 years old, because until this
age, the central nervous system is still developing.
d) About tattoos, I think that anybody can to do anything on their body, while it doesn’t reduce their abilities. Moreover, the tattoos are text on the skin, it’s an ethical and political proclamation about own individuality. By very persons the tattoos reflexes their landmarks of their life, their dreams, goals and targets. I don’t have tattoos, my proclamation are my scars on my body.
